This is the third month that the prices are at a high, this even after estate agent had several homes listed. According to Rightmore, this was a bullish market, and the same trend that the market was following since 10 years. However, a few people thought that the prices could fall.

Fall in property prices are responsible for people putting up their homes on sale. According to Rightmore, every estate agent had around 78 properties to be sold. 11% properties were put up every week for sale this was in comparison to home sales for 2009.

However it still seems to be a buyers market since after the summer break, activity in the market is yet to pick up. Infact buyers have not shown much interest in buying, with respect to the real estate market.

Director of Rightmove, Miles Shipside commented saying that the current market had too many challenges to face and the sellers increasing their sale prices by over 7,000 will need to do some explaining.
