Do i have to give two months notice in wrting if I have a signed piece of paper dated july 2012 which says he agreed verbally in January 2012 to move out by Sept. 1st 2012?.

I wish to evict my stepson,girlfriend and daughter(dont ask!).they pay a token rent to cover my mortgage and there is no tenancy agreement. How do i go about it and what are my rights?
