News Centre Wed, 20 Oct 2010 21:04:03 +0000 my landlord gas safety cert expired 3 weeks ago, i have been trying to get a gas engineer in the property for the last two months, my tenent refused to answer the door and will not answer letters or phone calls. i have offered her the operunity to pick her own engineer, and to get them to come to me for payment. but this is not working either. what else can i do. News Centre Wed, 20 Oct 2010 21:08:36 +0000 my tenent wont let me enter the property for my overdue safty check(3 weeks out of date). i have called at property, rang her, emailed her, sent letters and she wont reply to anything. i have offered her to choose her own engineer and to send me the bill. but nothing. what can i do to gain entry into my property News Centre Sun, 24 Oct 2010 15:33:06 +0000 As far as I am aware that if you have given 24 hours notice that you need to enter the property with a corgi plumber to carry out the gas safety check then she cannot complain, so if you send a letter to get to her a week before with the date and time specifically outlined and then telephone and leave a message on the answer machine you are well within your rights to go a head and enter the property.
