contract-query

Nichola Kirkbride asked 2 weeks ago

Hey, I have a house in Northern Ireland that I let through an agent. Our new tenants moved in last week. The agent has produced a contract that they signed on our behalf about a week ago without our knowledge. We had not seen the contract before today and they signed it and gave it to the tenants without our permission. We have queried some of the points and they have said that it’s too late because it’s already signed. When we queried this they said that it is legal for them to sign on our behalf even though we have never seen it or authorised this??
