Rent Payment

John Howlett asked 2 months ago

Dear Landlord Expert.
I have recently rented out a property and due to the fact the three tenants were late teens and early twenties I asked for the 12month rent and deposit payable in advance, this has been done and all agreed in the tenancy agreement and paid to the letting agent. Can you advise why the lettings agent is unwillingly to release the funds in full to myself minus the deposit. They have taken their fees for the year. They are saying the tenants want to release monthly but my agreement was to pay in advance. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank-you, John Howlett
